We create photobooks and objects to give images meaning, form, tangibility, and context. Our approach to bookmaking is experimental both conceptually and practically. We allow the work itself to guide the form each project takes. While some projects remain photobooks and others evolve into objects, all remain rooted in the language and possibilities of the photobook.
Our photobook and object projects engage with themes of gender, economy, ecology, the body, culture, and communities. So far, our practice has included working with public archives, personal narratives, conceptual explorations, and independent artistic inquiries.
Through graphic design, sequencing, and text, we create rhythm and drama within the photobook to draw viewers in, build curiosity, and evoke emotion. While images are inherently two-dimensional, the photobook transforms them into an immersive experience—helping viewers connect with the work more deeply and encounter the images through movement, context, and feeling.
If you have a body of work that you would like to develop into a photobook or an image-based object, we would love to hear from you.
